Visiting Presidents is Currently a Work in Progress!

Welcome to Visiting Presidents!
I created this site to share my lifelong passion for U.S. Presidents. Ever since my parents gave me my first presidential book—Louis Philip's Ask Me Anything About the Presidents—I’ve been on a quest to visit every single presidential site. If a president lived there, I wanted to see it.
Fast forward to 2026: I realized the countless hours of research I’d done to build the ultimate list of presidential locations needed to be shared with the world. I've put in the legwork, leaving no stone unturned to find every place a president lived or experienced a major life milestone, from weddings to final resting places.
A few authors became my personal heroes on this journey: William A. DeGregorio’s Complete Book of U.S. Presidents should be required reading for anyone with even a passing interest in the subject. Brady Carlson's Dead Presidents is another fascinating insight into presidential burials and legacy. I also highly recommend Louis Picone’s impeccably researched texts: The President is Dead (covering death and burial sites) and the aptly named Where the Presidents Were Born.
Despite all my digging, I know I've likely missed a few spots. That's exactly why I built a website instead of writing a book. A published book is a relic frozen in time, but a website has the luxury of constantly evolving and updating.
My hope is that you find this site valuable as you set out on your own journey to visit the places that shaped each president's legacy.
Thanks!
Zach
